Huge thank you to the Dutch FD Persoonlijk magazine from Het FD (the Dutch version of the Financial Times) for featuring BARUTI in its weekly weekend magazine.
The magazine is in Dutch, so for all of you Dutch-speakers out there, here is the link to the full-page scan.
Here is the English translation:
After a perfume making course in 2012, Spyros Drosopoulos decided to change career and continue as a professional perfumer. Until then he was a scientific researcher employed by the University of Amsterdam. After a couple of years of experimenting, he introduced BARUTI in 2015. His first creation, Indigo, a warm, “steamy” smell with ingredients such as amber, hyacinth and cedarwood. Currently, the collection consists of nine Extrait de Parfum perfumes such as Perverso and Chai. Do not expect fleeting, vapid and bland scents. The Dutch-born and raised in Greece perfumer makes intense perfumes which can be described as powdery and explosive. “
